John Bolton news report......

I was at this meeting. I shook his hand prior to the speaking engagement and told him that he is the first Fox News contributor that I have ever met. He thought that that was funny.....

He is considering running for President and as he says since he is neither a politician nor a wealthy man, this is difficult. But after the meeting I told him that it was his patriotic duty to do so in order to inject his thinking into the Republican Presidential nominating process.

Tucson Shooting Victim: 'There Would Be Torture and Then an Ear Necklace...' - Sarah Palin - Fox Nation

So, here we go. The unjustifyable an irresponsible blathering by the American leftists and the press, where conservative and Tea Party activists were blamed for the Arizona killings, despite being perpetrated by a deranged man, the inevitable violent talk against these figures is starting.....
that top Republican figures should be tortured -- and their ears severed.

"There would be torture and then an ear necklace, with [Minnesota US Rep.] Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin's ears toward the end, because they're small, female ears, and then Limbaugh, Hannity and the biggest ears of all, Cheney's, in the center," Fuller said.
So, what side of the political spectrum has been uncivil and violent?

Michelle Malkin » The progressive “climate of hate:” An illustrated primer, 2000-2010

For all of you lefties that are hallucinating that political discourse from the right is a hate filled screed, please remove your tinfoil hats......

Oh, one may say, golly gee Glenzo, you are making such hate filled speech here, with your tin-foil hats and all that that implies. How utterly over-the-top!!!! Conservative hate!!!! Call the thought police.

However, one never really remembers such images as this.....

So, for some reason, the left completely overlooks their own complicity in coarse political discourse but feels that they have the right to criticize others. I have heard this kind of argument in the past where I actually listened to such wonderful thing the 'violence against the right is understandable since 'people are scared''. This sickening attitude maybe somehow implies that things to be scared about are caused or the responsibility of the right, exclusively.

S&P, Moody's Warn On U.S. Credit Rating - WSJ.com

The post WWII demographics and free economies have allowed Western nations to indulge in an orgy of government spending. Additionally, these nations have promised massive transfer payments to workers later in life indulging in covering retirement payments and medical care without actually saving the money to perform these tasks. Additionally, these nations have not only promised huge payments in the future, they have also spent much more than they take in on taxes and have run up massive deficits. These factors are conspiring to weaken the finances of these nations and they will eventually be restricted from continuing to borrow like they have in the past. As explained by these rating agencies....
In its report, Moody's said the U.S., Germany, France and the U.K. still have debt metrics compatible with their Aaa ratings.

But all four countries must bring future costs of pension and health-care subsidies under control if they "are to maintain long-term stability in their debt-burden credit metrics," Moody's said in its regular Aaa Sovereign Monitor report.

These measures of the U.S. debt burden include federal debt to revenue, estimated to average 397% of gross domestic product until 2020. The ratio of interest to revenue, meanwhile, is expected to rise to 17.6% by 2020, nearly double last year's level. These are "quite high for an Aaa-rated country," Moody's said in its report.

Quote of the day....

Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own. They begin and end with the criminals who commit them, not collectively with all the citizens of a state.

Obama’s class warfare and incitement to violence bears fruit [Reader Post] | Flopping Aces

For all of you leftists that think that rhetoric from the right is somehow more vitriolic then that delved out from the left or the harsh political tones in political discourse in the past, I give you this thought.....
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Spinning Tucson: Krugman's toxic rhetoric | The Economist

The Economist, editorializes that recent pronouncements of the hard-left, like the disgraceful bloviating by former economist turned leftist political pundit, Paul Krugman, linking the horrific killing of individuals by a deranged gunman, is somehow the fault of conservative and right-wing speech. However, this nebulous connection that purely exists in the minds of limited number of people, is not only not reasonable, it is itself nuts and deranged.......
At this point, there is simply no sound reason to believe this deranged young man was fired up by "toxic" or "eliminationist" conservative rhetoric from Michele Bachmann or whomever. Why are we even having this conversation? It's nuts. It's offensive. Is there any, you know, evidence that political rhetoric is now more vitriolic or incendiary than usual? Maybe there is, but I know of none. A feeling in Mr Krugman's gut doesn't cut it. Doesn't it seem at least as likely that a 22-year-old would be inspired to an act of high-profile atrocity by violent video games or films? As far as I know there's no evidence of that, either.
The American left, handed a historic defeat of their beloved Democrats in the recent mid-term elections by an angry electorate, is being also being buffeted by the realization that both their Marxist Utopian "from each according to his abilities, to each according to their needs" (Karl Marx, 1875 Critique of the Gotha Program) economic program just does not work in today's world and their racial messiah, the current resident of the White House, is nothing like they expected proving not only is he not a racial healer but also his lack of experience as an administrator with real world perspective and his inability to be a true leader to all Americans has shown through in his impotent abilities outside of Marxist big government intrusions foisted onto the typical everyday life.

So, what does Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Fox News, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and any other right of center target of the frothing-at-the-mouth liberal world have to do with the recent tragic shootings in Arizona? Absolutely nothing. But the connection that these people have with the tragedy is that this event is just a convenient vehicle for hard left loons to bash their political opponents. Its truly disgusting what these Democrats have become. These tragedies are not events to try to immolate opponents but to grieve the innocent victims and to allow people to take time to heal from this atrocity. The hard left in the American political landscape is again showing their cold and stony hearts reacting in a purely partisan and political fashion and not really being humanists that they so loudly claim to be.

Opinion: Tokyo's Fiscal Reckoning - WSJ.com

If the US isn't careful, the nation could face troubles as severe as Japan where government debt is over 200% of GDP. Spending is out of control, the nation is floundering in its innovative business culture and they will never be able to sustain the entitlement nonsense that has been promised to their populace. The idea that government is capable of delivering goods and servies to its populace outside of of their natural functions is a ludicrous idea that will exposed to the silliness that it is.

The commerce clause.....

Modern liberals, through the ill defined 16 words found in the Commerce Clause of the American Bill of Rights, have been able to create a whole brave new Utopian world through this unfortunate crack I the dike of liberty....
Article Section 8, Clause 3:
“ [The Congress shall have Power] To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian tribes;
The idea that the original framers of the constitution thought it was a good idea or intended that the central government had the duty and the right to intervene in private transactions, unless these private transactions were either illegal or infringed upon the rights of others, is silly. An experiment in liberty as the United States was, would never have been intentionally designed to self destruct into a socialist paradigm as we are now experiencing in the US.

As the leviathan in Washington consumes more and more of the American people's life, through seizure of their property gained through their own toil, and the elimination of their ability to make decisions with expect to their own lives, people and good ideas will seek out more accommodative places to carry on their business and their lives.

As the people in China have gained liberty, they have been able to use this freedom to make their lives better in ways that they have decided to do. China unfortunately, , is not a model that will work as vestiges of communism continue to interfere in natural allocation of resources. Resourses continue to be misallocated and in fact, the livathan here has had to double down on its mistakes making the problems worse. However, on the margin, as liberty has been gained, the people have responded by creating.

In my opinion, the United States experiment in liberty is finished unless the peole take the nation back. It will be difficult and their will be winners and losers, however, on the current path, there will only be losers.
